We've made a lot of changes since 2022: New players, new league, and even a new look. There's a lot that we have to look forward to. In the spirit of not getting too far ahead of ourselves, here's what on the immediate horizon.
We'll be hosting new opponents both April 22 and 23. Two games in two days definitely isn't ideal but it just so happens that this is how it worked out. The first of those games will be played against Superior City FC, a newly-formed club based in Superior, WI. They'll play in the UPSL Premier Division in 2023. SCFC is led by the familiar faces that run the former Hayward Wolfpack (now Superior Wolfpack) of the WPASL. That match is scheduled for a 6 PM kickoff and it will be hosted at Regis High School (2100 Fenwick Ave, Eau Claire, WI 54701).
The very next day, we'll play host in USASA Region II Qualifying against Honduras FC of Milwaukee. HFC MKE play in the WSL Majors Division based in Milwaukee. We don't really know a lot about them, but we're looking forward to the challenge. The game is scheduled for 3 PM kickoff, and it will also be played at Regis High School.
The winner of this game will travel to Burnsville to take on Vlora FC of the UPSL Premier Division during the first week of May.
We are still in need of volunteers for 2023. These two games may well be covered, but we will be hosting up to 15 more home games before the end of July.
